A New Relationship with Fear

Economic downturn, job uncertainty, global warming, over population, 2012 prophesies, Armageddon conspiracies…. There is bad news at the headline of almost every newspaper: “The news is bad and it just gets worse!”
These are the times for us to confront our insecurities. With everyone’s basal fears being triggered simultaneously, we have an extreme opportunity to dig out our unconscious fears, let them go, and step into our own personal power. Your leadership role is standing there in front of you like a suit for you to step into. You won’t fit into your leader suit with your fears and your suit has waited long enough.
I certainly waited long enough to put on my suit. I have had a phobia of public speaking my entire life, but somehow always end up speaking in front of people. Now that I have a message and a gift to share that I am deeply passionate about, my fears and insecurities have to go. There isn’t enough room for both. I finally discovered that holding on to my fear kept me from enjoying the ride. On the other side of my fear is exhilaration and the most profound exchange of love that completes me more each time I have a speaking engagement. It never fails. Every time I heal a fear, I gain a gift. What is your relationship to fear?

I totally agree with what your saying about our leadership suit. Everywhere I turn lately I keep getting the signs of how imperative it is to heed the messages from many of the ancient wisdom keepers. We, the human culture, have a great gift laid before us to receive… an opportunity to be pioneers of a beautiful world in luminous harmony. The luxurious land of integrity and congruency. It seems, at times, a daunting task to choose the way of the Light Warrior. And in my experience, the moment I make a choice to step beyond my fear, it’s seems as though the Universe responds with any even larger ‘kudos’ for choosing Love, especially, in this time and space called Now. So i’ll keep my heart shining bright because the task is only daunting if I say it is. And a thank you to you, dear Kelly, for walking the path of the pioneers. This world is a more beautiful place because of it.
